today we had oliver's 9 month wellness visit. he now weighs 20 lbs 14 oz and is 30 inches long. i'm pretty sure he actually weighs 30 lbs, but i wasn't about to sit on the scale to test its accuracy.
Surviving our winter in Wisconsin by busying ourselves with family and food, and sharing my obsession with food with my husband, Bryan, our son, Oliver, our family, and anyone else who will listen.
told me the moon looks like it's in a chrylsalis (because of the clouds), proceeded to explain how a caterpiller turns into a butterfly, and then exclaimed, "i LOVE metamorphosis!" (2/16/11)
when i told him he is getting bigger: "yeah, but then i will grow and grow and be a giant! i don't want to be a giant!" (2/11/11)

first sushi experience (12/28/10)
